God’s rest—God’s rest is His care of us; God’s rest is not sitting in a lounge chair watching the ocean waves. (Although it could be)
God’s rest is the fulfillment of God’s promises to us
God’s promises often come with the contingency of our obedience and willingness to follow His direction for our lives. God’s ways are not always like ours; His timing is not always our timing.
