Ephesians 3:20-21

Scripture Reading: Psalm 59:16-17 “As for me, I will sing about your strength; I will praise your loyal love in the morning. For you are my refuge and my place of shelter when I face trouble. You are my source of strength. I will sing praises to you. For God is my refuge, the God who loves me.^” (NET)

Four Things About God:

#1—Sovereignty of God.

#2—Omnipotence of God.

          God is all-powerful.

          Matthew 19:26b; Mark 9:20-23

#3—Omniscience of God.

          God is all-knowing.

#4—Providence of God.

1–Providence is God’s guidance and care over creation

          Acts 17:28; Colossians 1:17

2—Providence of God is God’s active involvement in the world and in human affairs.

          Romans 8:28; Hebrews 13:5

3—Providence of God ensures that all events unfold according to divine purpose.

          Romans 8:28

4—Providence of God provides comfort and hope for all believers.

          Psalm 34:18; 2 Corinthians 1:3-4a

The reason God can do immeasurably more: Isaiah 55:8-9
