Romans 8:31-39; Daniel 1:3-8

A High View of God—

How did Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah get into the mess they were in?

• God told Israel in Leviticus 25:1-7 to give the land they used for their crops a
• sabbatical every seven years.

• Israel ignored this command from God for 490 years.
• God put the Jews in exile for 70 years (one year for every time they ignored God’s command for a sabbatical for the land every seven years.
