1 John 2:18

Scripture Reading: Psalm 113:1-3 “Praise the Lord! Yes, give praise, O servants of the Lord. Praise the name of the Lord! Blessed be the name of the Lord now and forever. Everywhere—from east to west—praise the name of the Lord.” (NLT)

1 John 2:18

There really is a person who will be known as the “antichrist.”

Before this person, the “spirit of antichrist” will be at work on the earth.

Something or someone is restraining the antichrist.

The Rapture removes whatever or whoever is restraining the antichrist.

The antichrist establishes a treaty with Israel.

Daniel 9:27b; 2 Thessalonians2:4

Text: John 14:6

Scripture Reading: Psalm 145:1-3 “I will exalt you, my God and King, and praise your name forever and ever. I will praise you every day; yes, I will praise you forever. Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise! No one can measure his greatness.” (NLT)

Three False Beliefs:

#1–Reincarnation

Reincarnation is the belief that upon death, a person’s soul or essence is reborn into a new body, potentially in a different form (human, animal, etc.).

#2–Purgatory

Purgatory is a state or process of purification that souls undergo after death before entering Heaven. It is a temporary condition for those who have died in God’s grace but still have imperfections or attachments to sin.

The truth: Romans 6:23

#3–Universalism—everybody goes to heaven

Universalism often refers to the belief that all individuals will ultimately be saved or reconciled with God.

The truth: Acts 4:12; Ephesians 2:8-9
