Text: Matthew 5:18; 2 Timothy 3:16, 17

Bible Reading: Philippians 4:4-7

Matthew 5:18—

          “jot & tittle”—

          Law—

Truth—Is there “absolute truth?” Or is “truth relative?”

          Who or what do you trust?

          The Bible and Standard Oil—Exodus 2:3

          The “skin of our teeth”—Job 19:20

God’s Word is “infallible”—Infallible—Absolutely trustworthy or sure. Unfailing in effectiveness or operation.” “Immune from failing or leading to error”

The reason Scripture is infallible is because it was “God breathed”

2 Timothy 3:16-17— “All Scripture”

          God breathed—

          40 men, over 1600 years—

          Times have changed, but God hasn’t changed

Malachi 3:6; Hebrews 13:8; Numbers 23:19
