Matthew 6:10

Scripture Reading: Matthew 6:31-33 “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ 32 These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. 33 Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.” (NLT)

Your Kingdom Come

#1–Things that are different about God’s Kingdom

          No borders.

          No walls.

No restrictions on gender, ethnicity, or age.

          John 3:16

#2—The Kingdom of God is “counter-cultural.”

          Sermon on the Mount—

Character traits of those in the Kingdom: forgiving; humble; loving; trusting; compassionate; serving; submitted.

#3—The Kingdom of God starts in our heart.

          1 John 1:9; Romans 6:23

The purpose of God’s Kingdom is not to topple other kingdoms but to topple sin. To make us new (2 Corinthians 5:17)

God showed us the way His Kingdom works by everything out of something small. Great faith comes from a small mustard seed. And a great Savior came from Mary’s baby boy, Jesus.
