Matthew 6:10

Scripture Reading: Matthew 6:31-33 “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ ³² These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. ³³ Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.” (NLT)

Your Kingdom Come

#1–Things that are different about God’s Kingdom

          No borders.

          No walls.

          No restrictions on gender, ethnicity, or age.

          John 3:16

#2—The Kingdom of God is “counter-cultural.”

          Sermon on the Mount—

Character traits of those in the Kingdom: forgiving; humble; loving; trusting; compassionate; serving; submitted.

#3—The Kingdom of God starts in our heart.

          1 John 1:9; Romans 6:23

The purpose of God’s Kingdom is not to topple other kingdoms but to topple sin. To make us new (2 Corinthians 5:17)

God showed us the way His Kingdom works by everything out of something small. Great faith comes from a small mustard seed. And a great Savior came from Mary’s baby boy, Jesus.
